Lit Motors C-1 Electric Motorcycle with Gyroscopic Stabilizing Technology

limited oil resources, making several automotive manufacturers to create an innovation to find fuels alternatives, and one of the fuel vehicles are often developed is electric fuel. There are some vehicles such as cars and motorcycles, which began using this alternative fuels which are also environmentally friendly, and one of them is the Lit Motors C-1.

When viewed from its design, this vehicle is enclosed like a car but it has two wheels like a motorcycle, and interestingly, comes with a gyroscopic stabilizing technology, which allows the bike to stay upright while being stopped or even when exposed to impact from the side when the accident occurred.

The Lit Motors C-1 is a motorcycle for two passengers fully enclosed, electric-powered(8-10 KWH battery), and capable of reaching speeds of up to 120km/h, and at a distance of 241-354KM in a single battery charge. Moreover the C-1 will also use a variety of connectivity protocols in order to stay connected to the internet. Thus, the driver or rider, always be aware of traffic conditions and weather conditions.

The Environmentally friendly vehicles was developed by Daniel Kim and his team and use a flywheel-based stabilization systems as well as mock-ups are all using fiberglass. Manufacture of this bike planned in 2013 at a price of U.S. $ 24,000 and is expected to be $ 16,000 in 2014.
