Polaroid Z2300-Pocket Camera that Can be Printed Directly

In the 1980s era may in some sights, there are many photographer services whose results can be printed directly just a few minutes.  And now some vendors to bring back the camera with this concept, and one of them is Polaroid, which launched a new generation camera and can print directly and known as the Polaroid Z2300.

Previously, these company had also released a couple of cameras with the same concept, so for this new generation comes with some new features and better, as well as a smaller body and thinner. The new Polaroid brings the latest printing technology, and known as the ink-free ZINK (Zero Ink) tech, and using special photo paper measuring 2 × 3 inches.

By using the technology from Zink and paper, allows users to print photos without using ink cartridges, but the Zink printer can not print color photos directly in large size. So if you want to print the photos in large sizes, users can connect directly to a PC or printer and print like other digital cameras. Interestingly, the resulting image from the camera is also waterproof so it does not easily fade and photos can last a long time.


The Polaroid Z2300 equipped with a 10 megapixels sensor with a fixed lens 6x digital zoom capability, and on the back there is a LCD screen-sized 3-inch that serves to help take a snapshot and displaying your photos. This camera can also be used to record HD video in 720p format, which can be stored directly in the internal memory capacity of 32MB, and can be expanded via a memory card slot

According to some sources this camera will go on sale this month, at a price of $159.99 complete with 50 sheets of ZINK 2 x 3". If you buy the paper separately, the price for 50 sheets is $ 24.99 while the price for 30 sheets is $ 14.99
