Fujifilm X-E1 Mid-Class Mirrorless 16.3MP Camera with Retro Style

As we all know if the Fujifilm X-Pro 1 is a high class camera, so only people who have a lot of money to be able to buy it. But do not worry because now Fujifilm will launch a cheaper version for similar camera and it has a name the Fujifilm X-E1. This device is a mirrorless camera with a retro style, and intended for the middle class and will be available in two body colors(black or a combination of silver and black).

This interchangeable lens cameras use the same sensor, 16.3-megapixel APS-C X-Trans CMOS sensor, and also use Fujifilm X lens mount and is claimed to have the image quality is identical to its predecessor. This sensor can also be relied, because it has a unique color filter arrangement to minimize the wrong color.

Some difference between the two cameras is the Fujifilm X-E1 body is smaller than the X-Pro1, and the Fujifilm X-Pro 1 carrying the hybrid viewfinder (optical system synergy and electronic), while the X-E1 comes only with OLED tech electronic viewfinder. This OLED electronic viewfinder has a density of up to 2.36 million dots, and according to some sources is the highest for the current electronic viewfinder.

This camera has a dimension of 129 x 74.9 x 38.3 mm, using the EXR Processor Pro image processor that is claimed to not only produce images faster, but also can provide a fast autofocus with Contrast Detection.

This camera also offers a wide ISO range up to 6400 in Auto mode, which can be expanded up to 25,600 in Manual mode, and also features the ability to record video with resolution of HD 1080p 24 fps (frame per second). Not only that, some of the other features offered are Panoramic mode, In-camera RAW Converter, creative Film Simulation mode provided several options effect such as Velvia, Astia, Provia, Monochrome, Sepia, PRO Neg. Std and PRO Neg. Hi.

The Fujifilm X-E1 is a modern camera that carries many professional features wrapped in a beautiful retro design, and will be launched at a price range of U.S.$1,000(body only) or $1.400 with 18-55mm f/2.8-4 lens. This lens is equipped with OIS (Optical Image Stabilizer), and a new linear motor that can focus on the subject in just 0.1 seconds.
