Pentax Q10 Mirrorless Camera with a 12 MP CMOS lens

At the Photokina 2012 Pentax Ricoh do not miss this event to introduce the new mirrorless camera that has a code name the Q10. This camera is reported as the next generation of the Pentax Q which was launched in August 2011 and has better image quality, as well as its AF performance promised faster in determining focus than its predecessor.

The Pentax Q10 comes with a 1/2.3 CMOS sensor with a resolution of 12.4 mega pixels, including back-illuminated sensor that can reduce the presence of noise and the ISO of the camera is in the range of 100-6400. The sensor lens used in the camera will provide fast autofocus performance, especially when using a tele lens or shooting at low light conditions, while video recording the Q10 is able to produce HD video with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 at 30 fps

Some interesting features offered by this camera are SR (Shake Reduction) technology which automatically shifts the CMOS sensor to reduce the effects of vibration is detected, Custom Image, Digital Filter and Smart Effect which provide a variety of interesting effects in photos, flash internal, Face Recognition AF, and there is a rotary knob at the front of the body to store the desired settings, such as digital filters, aspect ratio and more.
 The Pentax Q10 equipped with 3 inch LCD screen 460,000 dots, has dimension of of 102 x 58 x 34 mm and weight of about 200 grams, so as a mirrorless camera the Q10 can be said have a small body design. Based on several sources the Pentax Q10 will launch in October 2012 at a price of US$599 with a zoom 02 lens package, while the Pentax-06 Telephoto Zoom Lens will retail for U.S.$299 and adapter Q for K-Mount in the range of U.S.$249.
