Kenguru an Electric Car for Wheelchair Users

There are some people in this world who uses a wheelchair to run their daily life, this is of course because they have physical limitations that should receive special attention. One of the things that might be still difficult done by them are driving a car, and because of this one of the Hungarian company developing an electric car that is suitable for wheelchair users.

This electric car has a name the Kenguru, and designed for easy access from a wheelchair, and claimed to be the first electric car that is devoted to wheelchair users. This car has only one door and located behind, also very easy to open because it comes with a remote control, and also designed that allows wheelchair users easier when going into car.

The Kenguru electric car can run at a maximum speed of 45 km/h(28 mph), with the distance of 70 and 110 km (43 and 68 miles), and is supported by a 2-kW battery is located on the rear axle. Basically this car is also designed for short distances or in the city, and in the future will also be available steering wheel joystick version, to make it easier for users who also have difficulty to control it with 2 hands.

Actually the design of the car has been there since six years ago, and was discovered by a lawyer from Texas, USA, the Stacy Zoern and also reported as a wheelchair user. Some sources say the new car will begin to produced and when launched will have a price range of U.S.$ 25,000.
