Beltbag-New Safety Technology from Mercedes for Rear Passengers

Safety is one of the most important factors when driving, so many different vendors, which has developed the technology to solve this problem. One of them is Mercedes-Benz, which develops the Beltbag technology and will be used in their latest car, which aim to reduce the risk of injury when something unexpected happens.

The BeltBag is seat belts with air bags, which can provide better security to passengers in the rear, and when there is a collision, then the size will be enlarged up to three times, so it will be possible to reduce the risk of injury during a crash.

How to use the BeltBag tied in the same way, such as seat belts in general, and has been tested through a series of tests and the results have been declared passed in terms of safety and comfort. This seat belt is not designed for front seat passengers who already have airbags in the front on all models of Mercedes Benz.
