Tesla Model S-the First Car Powered by NVIDIA Tegra VCM Processor

All gadget fans must be very familiar with the Nvidia Tegra chip commonly used in smartphones and tablet devices, but apparently this chip also has been used on the car accessories in the form of a navigation system and largest infotainment that use Tegra Visual Computing Module (VCM) processors

The first car that has this navigation system is the Tesla Model S, and it also presents the world's first mobile superchip which integrates ARM multicore CPUs, NVIDIA GeForce GPU, and audio, video, and images. Through this chip will make quality 3D graphics and multimedia capabilities with a high degree of efficiency, and high resolution display that supports intuitive system performance and interactive.

On this car there are two Tegra VCM module, the first can be used to run infotainment system with a user interface that can be customized for music, telecommunications, navigation, and temperature regulation. While the second is a digital instrument panel car, with a 12.3-inch LCD screen 3D display and can be personalized according to the driver's wishes.
The Tesla Model S also comes with a display that looks awesome, has a high-performance engines, energy efficient, and there is also a sophisticated consumer devices, which gives the experience of driving powered by NVIDIA processor.
