This Device Can Change Any Object Into a Keyboard for Computer

Two students from the MIT Media Lab is said to have managed to create a very unique device and known as the MaKey MaKey, which enables all things or objects to function like a computer keyboard. This device was created after two years of research even reportedly bananas can also be converted into keyboard with this advanced tools or called the MaKey MaKey.

The MaKey MaKey not limit any object to be converted into a function of a computer keyboard, except for items that are gases such as air. And more interestingly some sources say it was not only solid objects that could be used but also liquids. In the video below shows how a banana and stairs at home can be used to play digital piano, as well as the water in the basin is used to play games on the computer.

This unique device capable of analyzing the touch and also able to convert it into commands for the computer as you command your computer via the keyboard, or it may be said the technology is able to turn any object into a touchpads and the way is to connect an object by using the alligator clip.

The MaKey MaKey consists of 6 inputs: up/down/left/right, space bar, and left-click mouse. If the board reversed its top position, then six additional buttons keyboard, mouse movements, and mouse right-click accessible. If you want to use it can work with any laptop or computer, which certainly comes with a USB port and the latest operating systems, such as Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Mac OSX.
This tool is intended for everyone, ranging from artists, children, educators, engineers, designers, inventors, and creators. Because the creators of this device believe everyone has a creative nature, and imaginative. The MaKey MaKey project initiated by Kickstarter and need U.S.$25,000 in funding, but reportedly in just 11 days the project was able to reach USD 358,379 from donors.
