The need to capture image make some companies to innovate to meet these needs through a variety of unique ways. one of which is a new camera company based in the UK, Oxford Metrics Group (OMG) recently announced a unique digital camera called the Autographer.
This camera comes with the wearable concept making it suitable worn around the neck, and will work automatically without the need to press the shutter button to take the picture. Even there are several sources that mention the Autographer could take pictures 2000 times a day wherever the user is located.
The Autographer is equipped with a CMOS image sensor backlit 5-megapixel resolution, can produce images up to 136° angle, also has some other interesting features such as 5 pieces of sensors like Accelerometer sensor for measuring how fast and slow the movement of the user, color sensor to detect light and measuring light levels, magnetometer to determine where the direction of the camera, PIR sensor for detecting movement of the subject, temperature sensor to measure the temperature, and also a GPS module to determine the position of the camera.
Through the sensors mentioned above, the Autographer will process the data with a certain algorithm and then decide when the right time to take photos. So the camera will take a picture if there is a special event going on around you, for example if you enter a new room with different temperature or light, and many more.
