Nikon D600-Smallest, Cheapest DSLR Full Frame Camera

After many rumors appeared some time ago especially photography enthusiasts, Nikon finally launched a latest full frame DSLR camera, which has a code name the D600. As we all know the full frame DSLR cameras are usually released at a premium price so the population is not much, because only people who have a lot of money can afford to buy it.

But it seems to be changing with the presence of the Nikon D600, because according to sources (The Verge), this device is the cheapest DSLR camera and also the smallest/lightest, which will provide an alternative for those of you who want to have a more affordable DSLR camera.

The body is made of alloy magnessium(resistant to dust/water) with dimension of 141mm x 113mm x 82mm and weighs of about 760 grams, on the back there is a 3.2-inch screen, and Although small this camera offers several features that are almost equivalent with top class camera like the Nikon D4, Nikon D800 and Nikon D800E.

The Nikon D600 is a full-frame DSLR camera which is positioned under the Nikon D800, and comes with a resolution of 24.3 megapixel FX format and supported by CMOS sensor as well as the EXPEED 3 processor. This specification allows a maximum speed continuous shooting of 5.5 frames per second (fps) in a 16 bit RAW files, and ISO sensitivity on the D600 is 100-6400.

The smallest DSLR camera from Nikon is capable of recording Full HD 1080p video and supported by the Multi-area mode Full HD D-Movie that allows users to choose to record video on a DX format (crop factor) or FX (full frame). Moreover also offers some other interesting features such as port USB that can move data quickly, Nikon WU-1B wireless adapter which allows using iOS and Android devices as a remote, 19 Scene Mode, mode HDR, mode time lapse photography, quick retouch to process images directly on the camera without a computer, and many more. 
 
According to some sources this camera is available in this September (2012), and released at a price of only U.S.$2,099 for the body only, whereas if you choose a package with 24-85mm F3.5-5.6 lens priced at U.S.$2,699.
