Goodyear will Launch a Tire that can Pump Air Itself Automatically

A common problems that often occur for car drivers is often a flat tire due to leak. This is of course very annoying because it will hinder your journey, even dangerous because it could cause an accident. But do not worry because the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company has developed a technology to be a solution to solve the problem, to create a tire that can fill the wind automatically when your tire pressure is not on the optimal pressure.

This tire uses a technology called the Air Maintenance Technology (AMT), and consists of several components (regulators and pumps) inside the tire, so it does not need to be connected to the existing system in the car. The regulator can detect tire less wind, and automatic regulator will also be open and allow air from outside come in to pump the tires through a special tube in it.

Because this technology can detect automatically if the tire is less air, the riders do not need anymore to the garage to change a tire or may no longer need the spare tire while traveling. In addition to the safety factor, this technology also automatically have the advantage to save fuel, because the tires are always at the optimum air pressure so will result in lower emissions, improve the performance of the vehicle, even the life of the tire will be more durable.

Based on several sources that have been circulating, the tires that can fill the air automatically, possibility will be launched next year. So one of the common problems of the driver will soon be over, and hopefully will decrease the accident rate.
