Tsunami Survival Pod(TSP)-a Capsule to Avoid the Danger of Tsunami

Tsunami was one of the most feared natural disasters in this world, because this disaster could cause of the death of thousands people and also destroyed the entire building. because of this, an entrepreneur boat maker from Australia the Matt Duncan has created and built a capsule that works to place escape from tsunami disaster.

The Matt Duncan is concerned about the tsunami that occurred in Japan one year ago thus creating the Tsunami Survival Pod. This object is designed to protect from the tsunami which can be used up to four passengers, and shaped like a capsule or water tank.

The Tsunami Survival Pod is made of very strong iron so impact resistant although hitting objects with a capacity of 4.4 tons, so when hit a lot of things when the tsunami struck, the capsule remained strong in protecting people in it.

This capsule has a capacity of air that can be inhaled for 2.5 hours and there is also a bulletproof window (1 inch thick) that allows the light to illuminate inside the capsule, so the inside will remain light. Moreover it will also include some facilities such as a place for the supply of food, beverages, blankets and other safety equipment.

To make it easier for rescuers to find this capsule when the tsunami struck, the Survival Pod Tsunami also equipped with lights(a flashing beacon) and there is a hook to make the helicopter easily lift capsules.

Hopefully this rescue capsule can be easily owned by our brothers and sisters who really need it, because they live in areas that are more vulnerable to tsunami. As we all know, a very terrible tsunami disaster had occurred in Aceh (Sumatra Indonesia) a few years ago, which resulted in hundreds of thousands of people died and some of them were missing until now has not been found.
